I grew up in the Afar region of Ethiopia, one of the driest and harshest environments in the world. As a child, I was adopted and given a chance at life that many in my birthplace never had.
Having been given opportunities I know many in Afar will never receive, I feel a responsibility to give back in a meaningful and lasting way.
Now, as an adult, I want to give back.
In Afar, many families walk for hours each day just to collect unsafe water. Children miss school, women carry heavy jerrycans for long distances and waterborne diseases are common. Clean water is life but in Afar, it is still out of reach for too many.
That’s why I am starting Drops Of Hope. Our first project will provide safe, sustainable drinking water to families and schools in Afar. With your help, we can install affordable filtration systems and support communities so they no longer have to choose between thirst and sickness.
This is more than charity it’s personal. I carry Ethiopia in my heart, and I want to pay forward the life I was given by giving others a chance to live. Every project we fund will be transparent, documented, and community led, so you can see exactly where your support goes.
